Mission Statement

The Mission of Homes With Help is to assist those with special needs to live independently in the Community. We accomplish this by matching our clients with the services they need, through a single point of contact. Homes with Help matches clients with roommates, and finds a landlord with vacancy for housing. We then assist on an ongoing basis with meals, medications, and other services needed for our clients to succeed in their new home.

Our Homes

The Fernhill House

The Fernhill House is a charming 1920s Old Oshawa 6 bdrm home. This house features large rooms and original woodwork. There is also a deck and large backyard. It is located walking distance to the Oshawa Centre, many restaurants, parks and transportation.

The Highland House

The Highland house is currently renting. It is located on the east side of Oshawa, and is walking distance to Tim Horton’s, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, major bus routes, and other amenities. It has been recently renovated and features a three bdrm main floor and 2 bdrm bsmt apartment. There is also a large backyard and deck.

The Lloyd House

The Lloyd house has just completed a major renovation and is now renting. With new siding, windows, insulation, wiring, drywall, flooring and bathrooms, it is practically a new house! The building has two 2-bdrm units and a backyard. It is located walking distance to shopping, parks, and transportation.

The Stevenson House

The Stevenson House is a 3 bdrm 2 bath home that is handicapped assessable. It is located across the street from the Oshawa Centre–a very short walk to shopping and transportation.

The Parkway House

The Parkway House is located in Clarington, and is a great home for those who have become more independent and no longer need meals and other services. The main floor is 3 bdrms and 1 bath, with a deck. The basement is a 2-bdrm apartment.
