Our Staff
Homes With Help is fortunate to have staff with a wealth of experience working with people with special needs. All our staff have cleared Police Checks and are active in our community. Our staff has over 20 combined years of related experience. A sample of qualifications include:
Misty - Misty is a Registered Nurse, and has over 6 years experience working in Hospice care and assisting seniors. Misty also has over 2 years experience as a group home operator working with the mentally ill. In addition to her work at Homes With Help, Misty is a volunteer with Durham Hospice.
Cory - Cory has 5 years restaurant food service experience, and a background in business and property management. Cory also has experience working with troubled and emotionally disturbed youth, as well as several years experience managing group homes and working with the mentally disabled. In addition to his work at Homes With Help, Cory is a volunteer at Caruthers Creek Community Church.
Diana - Diana is a Community and Social Service Worker, employed for the past five years as a Vocation Rehabilitation Specialist in the Mental Health Field. Diana also has over 5 years experience in group home settings working with individuals with various exceptionalities. In addition to her work at Homes with Help, Diana volunteers at the local soup kitchen and delivers various donations to community organizations for the needy. Diana has recently obtained her Adult Teaching Certificate at Durham College and has her Food Safety, CPR and First Aid Certificates.

Rates
Our rates begin at $500.00 per month. ODSP and Social Services accepted.
Professional Associations
Homes With Help operates a “Homes For Special Care (HSC)” facility that is overseen by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. We are also members of the Ontario Homes for Special Needs Association (OHSNA).
